The beauty of Dashas (Indian Time Cycles) — History indeed repeats

In this article, I will try and demonstrate how the Indian concept of Time being cyclical as propounded by our Sages using Dashas, Karmic Theory and Vedic Astrology is far superior to the western notion of Time being linear.
For demonstrating the same, I will be using the horoscope of India and for timing the cycles, I will be using a simple 36 year cycle called “Yogini Dasha”. Indian Time Cycles are called “Dashas”. The word literally means condition or circumstances and helps us understand the outcome of the cycle using a particular planet who represents that portion of the cycle.
The below image shows the time cycles calculated as per the time of Indian Independence. As an example, we will focus on the time periods of Jupiter.
As shown, the first time cycle of Jupiter ran from 03/04/1047–03/04/1950. This period was marked by mass killings and destruction due to rioting and population exchange between India and Pakistan during partition.
The next time cycle of Jupiter ran from 04/04/1983–03/04/1986. This period was again marked by destruction and mass killings, but this time due to the Anti Sikh riots and pogroms which affected most of North India.
The current time cycle that India is running is again of Jupiter which started in April 2019 and will go on till April 2022. Already, we have witnessed terrible deaths, rioting and destruction due to Corona, CAA, NRC, Scrapping of Article 370 etc. This cycle will end on April 2022. It is advisable to be very cautious till the said cycle ends.
It can thus be seen with even a cursory observation that the Dasha of the planet Jupiter gives similar results every time. The causes might be different, but even they can be predicted by analyzing the chart in detail. Not only that, the area that could get affected can also be predicted.
This shows the applicability of the ancient knowledge passed down by our Rishis. Their understanding of time as “Kaala Chakra” (The Wheel of Time) can thus be practically seen and verified. A great amount of research needs to be undertaken to rigorously test more such ancient theories in various fields and find ways to apply them so that the land of Bharat can once again become the Golden Sparrow that the world knew it to be.
